“ We ordered menu del día- worth the price but I expected more. I was still very satisfied with the meal and the restaurant but the main dishes were not impressive or ‘wow’. Standard quality flavor I would say. Still recommended to try! ”
“ Enjoyed the food and service, although €24 for the starter of anchovies (pictured) was a bit of a stretch, although it did look beautiful. Fortunately it was the only dish we ate that felt a case of style over substance. ”
“ The food and service are excellent! The dishes are creative and full of flavor. You have to make a reservation early. ”
“ Excellent restaurant easy to miss as tucked away in basement. The decor was traditional with relaxed dining. Staff were very polite and engaging. Great to see cold water already served on the table. We started with a small free appetiser made from yoghurt and apple almoat a custard. It was so nice we asked for 2 more. For starters, we had pate and squid and prawn skewers. The pate was served with brioche croutons, slightly overdone, mine came with a vinegarette salad. Good portions perfectly cooked. We both had red tuna marinaded in vermouth served with salsa seared nicely with sesame crust. The flavour was excellent. Wine selection very good. A good bottle of white Rioja for €20. For a Michelin guide restaurant the overall value and quality was excellent. Well worth a visit. ”
“ Food was incredibly, atmosphere and service as well. We had a great time. Would definitely come back again ”
“ Had an amazing meal here at such good value. Brilliant service and perfect English spoken by the staff. A lovely night out! ”
“ Unassuming restaurant in the basement in the gros side of town. Friendly and helpful service. The fresh cheese salad is really good. The fish and steak were cooked perfectly. The torrija was outstanding. Definitely recommend checking this place out. We will be back. ”
